Students begin with an introduction to digital video production with a focus on the fundamentals of project planning, basic camera functions, shooting techniques, lighting principals and audio recording fundamentals. Welcome to the PCC Multimedia Center web site...Your online connection to accessible and affordable training in multimedia design and development. Fall term begins Friday, September 19th. Are you registered for classes?
Don’t hesitate to register for multimedia classes early. Classes tend to fill up quickly! Students can register online via “MyPCC” at www.pcc.edu or stop by the registration office at any campus beginning Friday, May 23rd. A list of the multimedia classes offered this Summer and Fall terms can be found on this web site by clicking on the “Class Schedule” link above.
For beginning multimedia students this Fall MM 110: Introduction to Multimedia begins on Friday, September 19th at 3pm and continues the following Saturday, September 20th at 9am in MAHB 104. If you are planning on attending this class please be aware that this class is offered the week before Fall term officially begins. If you are not registered for a multimedia class and would like to attend, please show up on the first day of class and talk to the instructor about getting signed up. Note: MM 110: Introduction to Multimedia will also be offered at the Sylvania campus this Fall beginning on Friday, October 31st at 3pm and continues the following Saturday, November 1st at 9am in TCB 208. It is suggested that all Multimedia students take MM 110: Introduction to Multimedia at Cascade campus, although the opportunity to take this course at Sylvania campus will be available to students later in the term.
The multimedia program is designed to provide individuals with the entry-level skills and experience needed for employment in a wide variety of professional opportunities. We offer more than 25 courses in multimedia training, an Associate of Applied Science degree in Multimedia as well as a one-year Multimedia certificate and Video Production certificate.
